Uzhhorod National University (UzhNU)

UzhNU is located in Zakarpatska oblast, Ukraine. Among all the other faculties of Uzhhorod, The Medical faculty of Uzhhorod National University is the largest. It has also played a crucial role not just in development of the university but also in the health care in the whole Zakarpatska oblast province. Ever since its existence the Medical Faculty of UzhNU has graduated its enrolled students 60 times and therefor it has educated and trained more than 7600 doctors who have not just served in Ukraine but all over the world.

Today, there are more than one thousand students are being trained at the medical faculty of UzhNU by competent scholars and medical practitioners. The scholars and medical practitioners not only support the academic activities but also contribute in improving the systems and processes of the faculty.

The Faculty Today includes the following:

36 Doctors of Sciences
Professors including nearly 85 Candidates of Sciences, Assistant Professors, 2 of them are receivers of the State Prize from the Government of Ukraine
There are 7 members of the Training Councils for PhD & Doctorate defense.
There are 4 Academicians of academies of sciences
There are 7 Honored Doctors of Ukraine
There is 1 Honored worker of education, science & technology of Ukraine;
1 Honored educator of Ukraine
2 Honored research workers of Ukraine

In the recent years, the faculty has made notable contributions in the professional training of its students. The main reason of these contributions is because of the initiative of opening of two new specialties, namely: The specialty “Bachelor – General duty nurse” which was inaugurated in 2002 and the specialty “Pharmacy” which was initiated in 2004. The Faculty of Medicine of UzhNU attracts thousands of National and International Students. The Foreign Students usually come from the countries of United Kingdom, USA, Mexico, Ukraine’s neighboring countries like Armenia, Romania, Turkmenistan and Russia, Several European Countries, Pakistan, India, other regions of Asia, African and middle eastern countries.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:

Copy of International passport.
Copy of High School Certificates.
Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
Invitation Charges 280 US$.
Courier Charges 100 US$.

You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.

After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:

Original Invitation letter
Original international passport (valid for one year)
Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
8 Passport size Photos.
Bank Statement
Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
Air Ticket Reservation.
Travel Insurance.

After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

University Accomodation & Hostel

Kyiv National Economic University provides accommodation for international students in university hostels. In total, KNEU has 5 dormitories, of which 2 are specifically for international students.

Foreign students live in hostels No 2 and 6.

Facilities Provided in Kyiv National Economic University Hostels:

University provides separate hostels for female students, which distinguishes these hostels best among other European universities.
Rooms are centrally heated.
These hostels offer all students everything they need for good living: a peaceful, healthy, and quiet environment for studying.
Rooms for self-studying furnished with desks and chairs. Document photocopy & printing service is available.
Individual Laundry, gym, billiard rooms are available in every hostel.
Canteens that offers cooked dishes according to the food preferences of foreign students. Moreover, the canteen is used for celebrating different religious and national holidays in the countries which the students come from.
Halal Food & Products are available for Muslim students.
High-Speed Internet connections are available in all hostels
There are isolation wards in the hostels that are used to provide rooms for sick students to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases.
