Ternopil National Economic University

Ternopil National Economic University (TNEU), which has the highest level of accreditation, is one of Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions. It is an independent University that has the power to grant a bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Economics degree. Today, the university consists of 14 Faculties including the Faculty of Economics & Finance. Nine Scientific Research Units are also functioning within the University.

History Overview

The University was founded in 1966 when the branch of the Kyiv Institute of National Economy’s Faculty of Finance and Economics was established in Ternopil. The Branch expanded to the Faculty over the course of time (in 1967), later to the Institute of Finance and Economics (1971), the Institute of National Economics (1989), and the Academy of National Economics (1994). In 2005 the TNEU was granted a status of a University. In 2006, the National status was conferred to Ternopil National Economic University.

University Today

The National Economic University of Ternopil (TNEU) provides courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, such as pre-degrees bachelor’s (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associates or foundations), bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, doctoral degrees in different fields of research.

The university meets the demand for quality education in economics and finance. Students who graduate from there have the required market skill and knowledge which make them fit for the demand of today’s world. The university has two rules or principles for providing knowledge. The one is “it’s the student who learns from the teacher, it’s not the teacher who teaches the student”. And the second is the goal of economic education is to transform the students for correct and analytical decision making.

The TNEU research process is carried out in a way that directs students and lecturers to be highly responsible for study outcomes. The availability of course books, study guides for individual learning, laboratory manuals, etc., achieves this.

This 54-year-old Ukrainian institution of higher education has a selective admission policy Foreign applicants are eligible for registrations. TNEU also provides students with a range of academic and non-academic facilities and services, including a library, residence, sports and entertainment areas, study abroad and exchange programs, online and distance learning courses, and also administrative services.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:

Copy of International passport.
Copy of High School Certificates.
Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
Invitation Charges 280 US$.
Courier Charges 100 US$.

You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.

After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:

Original Invitation letter
Original international passport (valid for one year)
Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
8 Passport size Photos.
Bank Statement
Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
Air Ticket Reservation.
Travel Insurance.

After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

University Accomodation & Hostel

Ternopil National Economic University provides accommodation for international students in university hostels. In total, TNEU has 5 dormitories, of which 2 are specifically for foreign students.

Foreign students live in hostels No 2 and 5.
Facilities Provided in Ternopil National Economic University Hostels:

University provides separate hostels for female students, which distinguishes these hostels best among other European universities.
Rooms are centrally heated.
These hostels offer all students everything they need for good living: a peaceful, healthy, and quiet environment for studying.
Rooms for self-studying furnished with desks and chairs. Document photocopy & printing service is available.
Individual Laundry, gym, billiard rooms are available in every hostel.
Canteens that offers cooked dishes according to the food preferences of foreign students. Moreover, the canteen is used for celebrating different religious and national holidays in the countries which the students come from.
Halal Food & Products are available for Muslim students.
High-Speed Internet connections are available in all hostels
There are isolation wards in the hostels that are used to provide rooms for sick students to prevent the spreading of infectious diseases.
