Specific aircraft and space rocket instruments and control systems, modern technologies, and as a consequence, the strong scientific and pedagogical ability of higher education. The university was led over the years by M. Korolko, V. Podporinov, D. Glinchuk, Gorchakov, P. Podchasov, N. Taranyuk. He served in the years 1954-1975 as Rector M. Holeho Holeho. Significant contributions were made to the building of the training center, to the creation of its material base, to the organization of research work, to the establishment of scientific and pedagogical personnel. The university was headed by Alexander Aksenov during the years 1975-1988. From 1988 to 1998, the university administration was headed by P.Nazarenko, from 1998 to 2008 by V. Babak University, and in 2008 by Rector M. Kulik. Kulik.

National Aviation University Today

Today, NAU is one of the world’s most strong higher education institutions in aviation, with over 50,000 students from 49 nations, including 1,200 foreign students. Highly trained scientific and pedagogical personnel, consisting of 15 academicians and corresponding members of the NAS of Ukraine, 270 physicians, professors, and 900 science candidates, are provided with the training process.

More than 50,000 students and trainees are educated each year in 50 areas of engineering, technology, humanities, educational, political, legal, and other sectors at the National Aviation University. Global Aviation University is a national and international training center for aviation and other industry specialists, producing around 200,000 highly trained specialists for 160 countries for almost eighty years of life.

Specialists in the fields of physical and mathematical sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, engineering sciences, economics, philosophy, philology, legal sciences, educational sciences, psychological sciences, sociology and national security will play a leading role in training highly qualified doctoral and postgraduate students for 52 and 18 specialties, respectively.

In Europe’s largest academic hangar at radiopolihoni, range aircraft and special trainers, future pilots and experts in ground handling of aircraft develop skills in authentic aircraft. National Aviation University has formed long-term relations with Ukraine’s leading aviation industry companies.

NAU was ranked as the 1st Top-ranked aviation university among all higher institutions in Ukraine from 2007 to 2021.
According to the CEDOS think-tank in 2012, NAU was in the Top-10 in the Transparency Rating among the universities of Ukraine.
According to Webometrics Ranking of World’s Universities, in February 2014-15, National Aviation University, Kyiv ranked 15th among 320 universities in Ukraine.

How to Enroll

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:

  • Copy of International passport.
  • Copy of High School Certificates.
  • Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
  • Invitation Charges 280 US$.
  • Courier Charges 100 US$.

You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.

After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:

  • Original Invitation letter
  • Original international passport (valid for one year)
  • Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
  • Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
  • Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
  • 8 Passport size Photos.
  • Bank Statement
  • Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
  • Air Ticket Reservation.
  • Travel Insurance.

After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

Kyiv National Economic University provides accommodation for international students in university hostels. In total, KNEU has 5 dormitories, of which 2 are specifically for international students.
Foreign students live in hostels No 2 and 6.
