Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE)
Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE) is one of the modern institutes providing quality education and learning to students. In 1946, as the Kyiv branch of a larger Soviet-era institution, the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE) was first founded. Over the period, with a variety of different teaching and social facilities, the institution has grown into a fully-fledged university in its own right. The university is primarily located in Kyiv, Ukraine, on a large campus east of the Dnieper River.
Economics and business are the primary focus of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics, with large schools in both these disciplines having been established. However, in other similar subjects, such as law and management, the university also offers colleges, and several of these offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
The institution founded the Centre for European Education in 2015, which trains French-speaking specialists in the fields of management and enterprise. In their first and second years, students here study the French language intensively, with the majority of lectures and seminars given in French by faculty from the University of Auvergne Clermont.
The 20-30 percent admission rate range makes this Ukrainian higher education organization a highly selective institution. For registration, foreign students are welcome to apply. KNUTE also provides students with a variety of academic and non-academic facilities and services, including libraries, accommodation, athletic facilities, financial assistance and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses, and opportunities for distance learning, and also administrative services.
The creation of KNUTE’s internal higher education requirements in all specialties and specializations at the first, second, and third levels of higher education in compliance with the National Qualifications System is a unique feature.
A number of renowned alumni have also been generated within Ukraine by the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics, including politicians such as Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsneyuk and diplomat Mikhailo Reznik. There is an art & culture center at the university, which is used by amateur theatre companies, a chamber choir, and dance groups. It also houses a studio for contemporary music groups to record.
