Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU)
Kyiv National Economic University was established in 1906 as Kyiv Graduate Commercial Courses, named after Vadym Hetman (KNEU) (in 1908 it became Kyiv Commercial Institute, in 1920 – Kyiv National Economy Institute, in 1992 – Kyiv State Economics University, and in 1995 – Kyiv National Economics University). On Victory Avenue, 54/1, the main building is located. The approximate level of education and research placed the university in the third position in the National University Ranking (Compass, 2012) in Ukraine.
University Today
Today, it is the leading institution of higher education for economics and industry in Ukraine. Named after Vadym Hetman, the mission of the National Economic University of Kyiv is to contribute to the development of society through scientific research, the generation and dissemination of new knowledge, and the training of competitive experts and creative personalities.
KNEU is a non-profit public university with a dedication to science and teaching of high quality. For a broad range of undergraduate and graduate programs, the University provides numerous modes of study (full time, part-time, distance learning, mixed learning options): for junior bachelor’s degrees (pre-degrees), bachelor’s bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, Ph.D. degrees, as well as post-doctoral degrees (higher doctorate/habilitation).

Eduniversal ranking: according to the French edition of the “Eduniversal Ranking” ranking of business schools and universities, KNEU is an “Excellent Business School – 3 Palmes”;
THE 2020 University Impact Rankings: KNEU was ranked 2nd out of all Ukrainian universities and 1st out of all Ukrainian Universities of Economics and Humanities, with 401-600 positions in the global community of universities. The ranking assesses the activities of universities around the world in terms of the degree of significant outcome that they have on culture, the environment, and the economy. Each university participating in four of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals is included in the ranking methodology.
2020 Global Go to Think Tank Index Report: KNEU ranks third out of all analytical centers in Ukraine and 38th out of Central Europe’s best analytical centers.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:
- Copy of International passport.
- Copy of High School Certificates.
- Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
- Invitation Charges 280 US$.
- Courier Charges 100 US$.
You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.
After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:
- Original Invitation letter
- Original international passport (valid for one year)
- Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
- Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
- Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
- 8 Passport size Photos.
- Bank Statement
- Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
- Air Ticket Reservation.
- Travel Insurance.
After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

Hostels & Accommodation Kyiv National Economic University provides accommodation for International students in university hostels. In total, ONMU has 6 dormitories, in which 3 are specifically for International students. Foreign students live in hostels No 2, 5, and 6. Most of the university hostels are located within walking distance or/and closer to the bus stops.
