Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE)
Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics or as abbreviated (NURE) is a higher education institution which has gained the highest level of accreditation in Ukraine. It is counted among the oldest technology universities of Ukraine. It has above 7000 students and it comprises of 30 scientific centers. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has very strong research and education capabilities in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, Information and Communication Technology and computer technologies as well. NURE hosts the event of “International Academy of Applied Radio & Electronics”. NURE has also the honor of pioneering the development of distance education in Ukraine. It has a high level of proficiency in introduction of innovative technologies into education as well as in business.
As we go through the pages of history we find out that Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics began in 1930 with the foundation of Kharkiv Engineering-Building Institute (KEBI). It was built on the basis of faculty of Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute & architectural faculty of Kharkiv Art Institute. Afterwards, in the year 1934 Kharkiv Geodetic Institute & Scientific Research Institute of Geodesy and Cartography was included in the structure of the institute. In just 10 years KEBI became the largest higher education institution of Ukraine which enrolled 1734 students, 200 teachers and 4 faculties at the time including: Architectural, Building, Sanitary and Geodetic faculties.
Soon after the independence of Ukraine, KIMBAC was given the name of “Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics (KIRE)” whereas, in 1993 KIRE got the status of University and became known by the name “Kharkiv Technical University of Radio Electronics” (KTURE). In 2001 the status of the University was promoted to the National University.
The University is ranked as 1st among all technical universities of Ukraine by the scores declared by the Ministry of Education & Science, Youth & Sport of Ukraine.
It holds the following merits and awards.
Today, since 2001, NURE has 8 faculties and 34 departments, with more than 7000 students from Ukraine and various parts of the world. The students are being trained in 46 specialties from 7 different areas of knowledge. At the same time, nearly 100 Doctors of Sciences, Professors including 350 PhD and associate professors serve at the university. The professors teach at the department of postgraduate and doctoral studies in 14 specialties with 7 specialized councils for defending theses.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:
- Copy of International passport.
- Copy of High School Certificates.
- Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
- Invitation Charges 280 US$.
- Courier Charges 100 US$.
You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.
After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:
- Original Invitation letter
- Original international passport (valid for one year)
- Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
- Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
- Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
- 8 Passport size Photos.
- Bank Statement
- Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
- Air Ticket Reservation.
- Travel Insurance.
After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

Kyiv National Economic University provides accommodation for international students in university hostels. In total, KNEU has 5 dormitories, of which 2 are specifically for international students.
Foreign students live in hostels No 2 and 6.
