Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University abbreviated as IFNMU is an education institution of higher medical education located in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. IFNMU’s history started in 1945 and it is listed in the World Health Organization’s “Directory of Medical Schools” as well as in the US FAIMER International Medical Education Directory (IMED). IFNMU is among the very few Medical Universities in Ukraine which earned the title of a “National Medical University” by the government of Ukraine.

Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University was established in 1945. The university consists of a total of 12 hospitals & clinics. Among the few universities titled as a “National Medical University” by the government it is also a member of the association of universities, WHO, European association of universities (EAU) and a few other international organizations. Every year approximately 4000 foreign students join the university from all parts of the world, including Australia, United States of America, Western Europe, Africa, India and other parts of Asia as well. The university consists of 48 departments. In 2009, IFNMU’s Library was granted the prize for “Library of the year” in the contest where all universities of Ukraine participated.

In recent years, many significant scientific developments and innovations in the field of medical diagnostics were made at IFNMU. Theses innovation have found practical use in today’s public health measures. The university claims a vast number of patents for the devices it made, including a device that uses bio-indicators that tests radioactive contamination in the atmosphere.

IFNMU provides all-encompassing medical care to patients across the city of Ivano and even beyond when needed for 40 specialties. Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University also serves as a “National Database of Anatomy”.

The University offers A General Medicine Degree (Doctor of Medicine degree) which is a 6-year course, A Doctor of Dentistry degree which is a 5-year long course, Doctor of Medicine degree specialized in Pediatrics completes in 6 years, Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 5-years, Nursing (RN) which takes 3 to 4 years and Prosthodontics course (MDS / Clinical Residency) with a completion time of 2 years.

To get an Invitation Letter from any University of Ukraine we require the following documents:

Copy of International passport.
Copy of High School Certificates.
Copy of Bachelor Degree (if student is applying for Master’s degree).
Invitation Charges 280 US$.
Courier Charges 100 US$.

You can transfer payment to us by bank transfer or directly in our office. After receiving the documents and payment. we shall send you the invitation letter, admission letter and visa support letter by courier.

After getting invitation letter from '12 Consultants' students should contact the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate. Students can contact our local representative office also for visa information and they will assist students for their visa. Student should apply to Ukrainian Embassy with the following documents:

Original international passport (valid for one year)
Higher Secondary School certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Birth Certificate (translated into Ukrainian language)
Medical Certificate showing absence of Aids/HIV (translated into Ukrainian language) • Medical Certificate showing physical and mental fitness (translated into Ukrainian language)
8 Passport size Photos.
Bank Statement
Police Certificate (Character Clearance Certificate)
Air Ticket Reservation.
Travel Insurance.

After getting visa from Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate, students should inform us about his/her flight details with date and arrival time. One of our representatives shall receive the student at the airport. In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland.

Hostels & Accommodation Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University provides accommodation for International students in university hostels. In total, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University has 6 dormitories, in which 3 are specifically for International students. Foreign students live in hostels No 2, 5, and 6.
