    1. Job must be “directly related” to the student’s major degree program.
    2. Students must maintain their F1 status lawfully.
    3. Students must apply for Optional Practical Training before completing all work towards their degree.
    4. Optional Practical Training is permitted for up to 360 days full-time in total.
    5. Students who have engaged in 1-Year or more of full-time Curricular Practical Training (CPT) are not eligible for OPT.
