Admission & Visa Process from Pakistan

Required documents for admission in the Netherlands:Â
- Photocopy of the candidate’s valid passport and national ID card
- Recently taken passport photos
- A personal statement was written by the candidate in the English language of 500 to 800 words. The personal statement will demonstrate the candidate’s professional goals after graduation, why they choose a particular study program, and why they were chosen for the university where they are applying for admission.
- Transcripts of academic records, i.e., diplomas, certificates, and degrees (must be translated into Dutch or English language)
- Photocopies of previous diplomas attested by the granting authorities.
- Proof of language proficiency (Dutch or English)
- Proof of payment of the application fee (it can be around 50 euros)
- Motivation letter
- Letters of Recommendation
- Updated CV (for research-oriented postgraduate courses)

Work in Netherlands as a student
Non-EU/EEA nationals, including Pakistani students, are allowed to work part-time in the Netherlands during their studies at Dutch Universities. For part-time work, students first receive a TWV work permit.
If students receive a TWV work permit, they are allowed to work up to 16 hours per week during semesters and 40 hours per week during semester breaks in June, July, and August. The minimum wage for students working part-time is 10-12 EUR/ hour.
Work Permit – TWVÂ
The application for TWV is submitted by the employer who wants to employ a foreign national at his company or form. To TXV, the employer places the application at the UWV (Employment Agency) by ensuring that he has first sought the employee for the said vacant position in the Netherlands and other European countries before hiring a non-EU national. However, no work permit is required if the host university offers the students an internship position or employs them off-campus in the internship program related to their education.

- Student’s academic records (degrees, diplomas, and certificates) are translated into English or Dutch language.
- The TWV work permit is only granted for the position at the company or company of the employer that applied. A new TWV application from the new employer is required for another side job or a change of job.
